Four Point by the Sea - Four Point Retreats

LOCATION

Situated on the North end of Read Island, Four Point By The Sea is a 35 acre ocean front estate with private beaches and dock access off Whiterock Passage. The beautiful property has 3 residences and can cater for up to 16 overnight guests and over 50 day guests. This is where the yoga and ocean retreats happen year round. This is also the location for our off-grid wedding packages where immediate family can stay on property and wedding guests can stay in fishing lodges and other Airbnb locations close-by.

WEDDINGS

We can offer a fully off grid wedding on our oceanfront property with incredible views of the ocean and mountains from our “alter”. The beautiful property has 3 residences and can cater for up to 16 overnight guests and over 50 day guests. Immediate family can stay on property and wedding guests can stay in fishing lodges and other Airbnb locations close-by and we can arrange for boats to bring guests in for the actual wedding. Wedding receptions are handled in our on-site wedding barn or in the expansive gardens depending on quantity of guests. These are fully customised events and can be combined with the ocean or yoga retreat, pre or post wedding!

YOGA RETREATS

These retreats allow for a relaxing retreat to Four Point By The Sea with morning and evening yoga sessions either in the yoga room in the great house, in one of the gardens or orchard, on the beach or floating on paddle boards. These retreats can also include culinary experiences with our in-house chef along with wine tastings. There are lots of hikes available including a 2 hour hike to the only floating post office in Canada plus boat excursions to nearby islands to hike to remote lakes and waterfalls. The experiences are custom designed for each group.

OCEAN RETREATS

These occur at Four Point By The Sea in the beautiful discovery islands and desolation sound. All trips are customised but can include fishing trips on an Axopar 28 Cabin (trolling for salmon or bottom fishing), paddle boarding, whale watching, kayaking, cliff jumping, coasteering, anchoring in secluded bays, finding oysters or crabs for dinner or all of the above! We can also visit neighboring islands for hikes or to visit local bars/restaurants by boat in the evenings. This is truly the experience of a lifetime and is a wonderful way to get off grid whilst enjoying the beauty of the British Columbia.

ACCOMODATION

The three residences at Four Point By The Sea are all available to book individually or together for a larger group. This property is totally off-grid so power is provided by solar and water comes from a well on property. Access is either by your own boat or we can collect you from a dock on Quadra Island.

THE GREAT HOUSE

Built on top of the property with double height vaulted ceilings, the great house commands amazing views over the grounds with 180 degree views of the ocean through the forest that surrounds the property. The great house has one queen room, one double in a reading nook and two doubles in the open loft.

BARN SUITE

Located over the barn, the suite offers commanding views from its spacious deck over the private dock and towards the mountains behind Whiterock passage. The suite has two bedrooms, one with a twin and one with a queen.

WHITEROCK COTTAGE

This is the cutest cottage in the Discovery Islands situated overlooking Whiterock passage and next to our orchard and greenhouse. This has a vaulted loft with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room below. This property has its own smaller solar system that just provides DC power as we wanted to keep it more off-grid for those wishing to really escape along with a composting toilet.
